Sportbreak has come up with a great new concept in cricket tours. One of the main problems of the traditional cricket tour is the amount of work the team organiser has to do. Not so with Sportbreak tours. Almost all of the organisation is done for you. All your organiser has to do is to recruit the players, this is assisted by SportBreaks personalised posters to display in your club house.

Four, six or eight teams, staying at the same hotel or holiday centre and playing against each other in competitive fixtures. Each team plays a minimum of three matches (Monday to Thursday inclusive) with awards presented to the winners, runners-up and the most successful individuals. At the end of the week an "All Stars" team will be selected from the weeks most successful performers. All matches will be played on good quality wickets at some of the leading local clubs.

With the growth of women's cricket in the United Kingdom, SportBreak are proud to offer two tours for women's teams (see Potters Gala Week - 3rd-8th June 2001, and Lansdown Hotel - Torquay - 9th-14th September 2001).

Socially, every night is a party night with live entertainment and a Gala Dinner and Presentations on the Thursday night. At all Hotels and Holiday Centres featured this year, extended bar hours will apply.

The price for each break includes Full Board (including a packed lunch), all entertainment, welcome reception, Gala Dinner and Presentations, match fees, balls and the services of an organiser. Coach travel can be arranged at an additional cost (please ask for a quote).

The tours are not just for the players. Family and friends are welcome subject to accommodation availability, and at our Gala Week at Potters Leisure Resort a full day time entertainment programme for both adults and children will be running.

If the unforgivable happens and any of your matches are rained off, a wet weather entertainment programme will be available which can include visits to some of the leading local attractions.
