Get your season off to a great start with an early tour to glorious Cornwall, staying at the extremely popular Grantham Astor Hotel in Newquay. Situated in one of Newquay's most favoured locations, the Grantham Astor is just off the sea front and close to the famous Tolcarne and Great Western beaches.
The hotel's sixty-four bedrooms are comfortably furnished and offer colour television, hair drier and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have a private bath or shower and toilet en suite and are centrally heated. There are passenger lifts and a number of rooms are situated on the ground floor.. The mood is festive each evening when the large entertainment's ballroom is in full swing. There is a well stocked bar with a range of bottled beers and a choice of selective draught beers and lagers.
Games facilities include a traditional skittle alley, short mat bowls, darts and other amusements. Mike Bishop, who is co-owner of the hotel along with his brother Phil, is himself a cricketer and numerous touring teams have stayed at the Grantham Astor.
The matches will be held at various grounds within easy access of Newquay.
